MK Models latest addition draws inspiration from the industrial architecture of the North Midlands, the Gladstone Mill stands as a meticulously crafted two-story workshop. The first floor is fully accessible through an external wooden staircase. The brickwork faithfully replicates the observed details, including the rough segmented arches above the doors and windows, complemented by stone sills. The wooden-framed windows feature a top section with a three-pane opening light. All seven windows are designed to permit an open glazed position if preferred. Additionally, the first-floor door can be represented as either open or closed, complete with a hinged mechanism.
Roof construction, hidden from view, consists of a series of rafters that create a gentle undulation across the roof, imparting the appearance of age. The roof is clad with 825 Wide Header tiles, with meticulous attention paid to the detailing of broken and displaced tiles.
