Jackdaw Hovel
SKU: JH270923
A hovel is a building of simple construction, often but not exclusively constructed for the purpose of shelter to workers of an industrial age now long gone. If we may conjure the image of a minor drying damp cloths whilst fried eggs and bacon cook on a hot shovel. This wonderfully detailed model is based on such a building situated close to a mine entrance and one that stood on Rolfe Street, Smethwick in the heart of the industrial Midlands.
Suited to a railway industrial lineside of any era or for those just wishing to create a diorama.
